Tennis

I've played on Lake Mary High School’s varsity girls' tennis team since freshman year. The best of it was making it to state semi-finals in doubles — with my older sister as my partner.

Four years of matches against every kind of opponent has taught me more about composure than winning. I've learned to hold my integrity whether I'm up a set or down one, and to treat the girl across the net the same either way.
