Kids House of SeminoleThis is the volunteer work I care about most. Kids House is an advocacy center for children who've experienced abuse, working closely with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and local hospitals to support kids going through something most people never have to think about. I'm part of the gala committee, which means an hour a week gathering items for the auction, and then helping run the event itself once a year — it's the fundraiser that keeps the center running.
Grace ChurchEvery Sunday after the morning service, I head to the nursery, and look after infants — between one month and 18 months old — so their parents can actually sit through the service instead of chasing a toddler in the hallway.
Markham Woods ChurchIn the summers, I lead Vacation Bible School for two weeks, working with five kids each year and teaching them about kindness and faith.
Reading BuddiesAssistant teacher every other Tuesday at Lake Mary Elementary, providing extra in-class support for kids struggling with reading and math.
Heathrow ElementaryI go back every summer to help my old teachers set up their classrooms before the school year starts — a small way of paying back the people who taught me when I was that age.
In Teen Court, I'm the prosecuting attorney for teenagers who've caused harm in the community — kids who'd otherwise go through the formal juvenile justice system. My job is to figure out what accountability actually looks like: community service, or sometimes something as specific as a letter to their mom.

Baby Sitting50–60 hrs/week — Babysitting for several families around Longwood and Lake Mary. Balancing what the kids need against what the parents expect means showing up the same way every time, no exceptions.
Tennis Coach4–8 hrs/week — Coaching tennis to kids 12 and under. Most of the job is patience: showing a nine-year-old that missing the ball fifty times in a row isn't a reason to quit.
